KAAMA is based at the Kyoto Uninversity Research Centre for the Cultural Sciences. It has been founded and is directed by Professor Minoru INABA.

Technical Realisation

KAAMA's technical design is building on previous work done at the Center for Interdisciplinary Research and Documentation of Inner and South Asian Cultural History, University of Vienna (CIRDIS) and it's online archives. It is in particular an adaption and extension of CIRDIS' Himalaya Archive Vienna (HAV) and aims at easing future cooperation and interoperability.
